Setting Display Fields for Responsive Bios

Modified on Thu, 12 Jan, 2017 at 2:33 PM

Roster Bio Templates have been standardized in the responsive platform so that all sites use the same style, and can choose to add action photos to a bio if they wish. Before getting into adding the action photos, you will first need to setup the data you want displayed for each roster. To do so, edit the roster and then click on the Bio Template tab. This will load a list of the default and any additional templates you have created.

From here, you can either choose an existing one and click on Associate Selected Template, or you can choose to add a new one or edit an existing one. Note: If you edit an existing template, this will change how it appears for other sports, so it is recommended to create a new one if you wish to have a unique one for this specific sport or roster.

To create a new template, click on the add new button. Then in the next screen drag and drop the items from the left screen to the right that you want to have appear on this template.

When finished moving from left to right and then organizing the Selected Fields, be sure to give the Template a name and then hit save. After hitting save, click on Associate Selected Template to use this style for the roster.

Tip: When one has been created, you can always choose to edit this further later or choose an entirely different template for this particular roster at any time.
