Unlike the rest of the XML/XTG sport stats, baseball/softball stats assign statistics to players based off of their numbers in the game files. A somewhat common scenario that occurs, is that a player will wear a different jersey number in a random game, or switch numbers mid-season. It is essential to make sure that the player number on the SIDEARM site roster matches the number that they are listed under in each game file during the season.
