We have released a new option for schools that have student-athletes with any of the criteria below in their names where the XML stats in their bio pages weren't populating.
A.) Special characters
B.) Jr., III, IV, etc.
C.) A space or hyphen
D.) Longer names that Stat Crew allows
To solve this issue, in a player's 'Master Biography' page on the back-end there is now a 'Player Stat Name' section where you would take the StatCrew check name and paste it exactly how it appears.
How it looks in XML file:
Now you will see for Texas Tech's Patrick Mahomes II, who had stats that weren't showing, now they show correctly.
*YOU DO NOT NEED TO FILL IN THE PLAYER STAT NAME BOX FOR EVERYONE, IT IS ONLY FOR IF A PLAYER'S STATS AREN'T APPEARING BECAUSE OF THE SITUATIONS OUTLINED ABOVE.*
